This piece features elaborate double-sided high-relief carving; each face is densely decorated with multiple intertwined dragons dynamically winding through swirling cloud motifs, with carefully rendered facial features, manes and scaled textures to convey power and vitality. The deep relief work creates rich shadow and depth across the rounded disc, with consistent fine polishing bringing out the jadeite jade's gentle soft translucency.
