This elegantly formed jade bangle is crafted from pale mottled white jade, decorated with continuous relief floral scroll motifs carved along the outer curved surface of the circular band. The floral scroll motif symbolises enduring vitality, prosperity and auspicious abundance in traditional Chinese iconography. The jade displays a pale white base tone with soft mottling and scattered small russet speckles across the exterior. The scrolling flowers are modelled in low relief with flowing curved lines following the circular form of the bangle, the inner and outer surfaces smoothly polished to a gentle lustrous finish.
