A fine bottle shaped oxblood (Sang-de-Boeuf) bottle vase, Tianqiuping. Globular body with a cylindical neck. Covered with a rich, glassy and finely crackled burnt maroon red glaze, neatly cut of just before the footrim. The base is unglazed and bears an incised six-character mark of Tongzhi (1862-1874)
