The lid depicts robed figures in a mountainous garden setting beneath pine trees, surrounded by geometric diaper-pattern borders. Additional carved geometric motifs decorate the sides, while the interior is finished in black lacquer. Marked “CHINA” to the base. Height: 2.25 inches; Length: 5.25 inches. Width: 4 inches.
