A Chinese Shoushan soapstone figure of Guanyin, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, the well carved figure seated in lalitasana and holding a scroll, wearing long robes with a high cowl, the robe borders decorated with waves and foliage and the side carved with a lotus flower and lingzhi fungus supporting a vase, the stone in tones of orange-brown and grey and with painted details in red, the figure without stand 12cm high x 9.5cm wide x 5cm deep, fitted carved wood stand, 470g excluding stand清19世纪（可能） 寿山石观音
