A Chinese Yue celadon-glazed chicken-head ewer

With chicken-head spot, loop handle connecting to the dish shaped-mouth, and a pair of small lug handles to shoulder, covered overall in an olive-green glaze, fitted box, 24.5cm high.
The Property of a Lady. Purchased in Hong Kong throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Condition Report:
Two areas of glaze flaking to foot, with some surrounding overpainting which is highlighted by UV inspection. Nibbling to edges and surface including a tiny nibble to the edge of the spout. Expected firing imperfections include a glazed indentation to mouth, pitting and a few unglazed spots.
