Deeply carved as a pair of Buddhist lions playing with a brocade ball between them, the ball well-hollowed to form the water pot, the inclusions cleverly incorporated in the design, 8.8cm wide.

Expected inclusions and fissures to stone. A few nibbles to edges. Two small chips to the tail of the purple lion in correspondence of a gold flecked fissure, and a small chip which has been polished off to the side of the brocade ball.
