A Chinese archaic pottery two handled vase of typical form decorated in a black glaze, h. 18 cm, together with five similar vases and vessels (6) *from the collection of Phillip Allen (1938-2022)Condition Report Issues with all pots including missing pieces. Tallest jug with a rough rim and base, spout badle chipped, missing patch of glaze near the base, firing faults. Smaller jug with spout badly chipped and chips to base, mottle glaze around rim, firing faults. Four clay amphoras all chipped, the dark red one very badly damaged around rim, all rims damaged, the four-handled one repaired and handles cracked. Please see the additional images. Condition report photos have been taken in-situ in our salerooms with no studio lighting, filters or special settings being used. The saleroom has standard LED lighting and is as near to natural light as the auctioneers can reasonably achieve without moving items outdoors. Request condition report
