A Chinese archaistic bronze vase, hu, 17th-18th century, the globular body rising from a short straight foot, cast around the exterior with three rectangular sections of interlocking dragon scrolls, the shoulder set with taotie masks with pendent ring handles, script reads 唯十又六年既生' in the tenth month of the 16th year (of the Western Zhou King), 31cm high
