A you-form jade vase with main register of taotie motifs hangs on an all-jade chain attached to dragon head-design handle. Sold with two associated hardwood stands, both with silver inlay.

Provenance: From Mrs. Lee, Davis, California. A family heirloom. Lot 1 to 5, Lot 36 to 82, and Lot 214 to 219 are from the same collector.

Condition Report: With area of loss to larger wooden stand. Jade with natural inclusions throughout, minor old chip to chain handle, and reattached base.
