A Chinese cinnabar lacquer-type figure modelled as the seated Buddha on a hardwood stand, h. 75 cm, d. 7.5 cm, w. 9.5 cm, three similar lacquer work containers and a Burmese bowl (5) *from the collection of Phillip Allen (1938-2022)Condition Report Condition report photos have been taken in-situ in our salerooms with no studio lighting, filters or special settings being used. The saleroom has standard LED lighting and is as near to natural light as the auctioneers can reasonably achieve without moving items outdoors. Damage to the lid of the small round box. Green lacquer bowl scratched and split and nibbles to the rim. Buddha cracked under the belly. Square lacquer box with bad damage to the lid and the base. Two tier round box lacking the lid.
