Late Qing dynasty
Made up of silk strips in various colours, each embroidered with floral sprays to the thinner pieces, two larger pieces embroidered with dragon and phoenix respectively in gold metal wrapped thread amidst scrolling clouds above sea waves on red ground within yellow floral border, with brass ornaments and tassels attached to the end of the silk strips, 117 x 97cm.
