Qing dynasty, 19th century
The heavily potted stool in the shape of a barrel, enamelled to the front and back with ladies within rectangular panels and scrolling floral foliage surrounding two joined coins to the sides, all between two bands of raised studs, the top painted with a pierced coin to the centre encircled by stylised flowers within cartouches, 45cm high.

Condition Report:
Wear and scratches to the enamel and glaze, cracks and flaking to the enamel commensurate with age. Firing imperfections inside of the stool, a chip of 4cm across to the foot rim.
