Republic period, apocryphal Qianlong six-character mark
Painted with a dense pattern of peony, chrysanthemum, lotus, daisy blooms, grapes, and scrolling leaves on a gilt ground, flanked by a pair of ruyi handles with modelled tassels decorated with swastika and a pair of fishes, the turquoise-ground base with seal mark in iron red, 27cm high.
