Republic period (1912-1949), of lobed form, painted with boys playing in a garden, the cover pierced and decorated with flowers, with a four-character lingzhi chengxiang (the qilin's footprints foretell good fortune) mark in iron-red, 12.7cm long, and a tea bowl, the rounded sides rising from a circular foot, painted with five dragons in iron-red, amongst spuming waves in green, 9cm diameter (3)Condition Report Incense burner - chipped to foot rim.
