A Chinese famille rose jar and cover and two celadon vases
late 19th - 20th century
The jar of ovoid form, painted to the front and back with archaistic vessels containing blossoming flower branches, with inscriptions to each side, mark in iron red to base, 28cm high; a modern celadon crackle glazed gu vase, 27.5cm high; a late 20th century moulded celadon twin handled vase of flattened form, 31cm high (3).

Condition Report:
The jar missing a finial, with a drilled hole to the base and the cover previously mounted as a lamp, a chip to the underside of the rim of the cover of approx. 0.8cm across, a tiny dented area to the mouth rim of the jar, wear to the enamel and glaze, nibbles to the rims, commensurate with age. Firing imperfections.
The gu vase with significant crazing in the glaze, firing imperfection including pitting and iron spots, otherwise good condition.
The celadon twin handled vase, with a shallow chip to the mouth rim of approx. 0.8cm across, a chip of approx. 4cm across to the underside of the rim.
