Painted to the central roundel with a peony enclosed by a band of small circles, the cavetto divided in four equal fan-shaped cartouches painted with deer, chicken, mandarin ducks amidst stylised rocks, leafy floral branches and scrolling ruyi clouds, below a band of flower heads on iron red ground, 27cm diameter.
