A Chinese famille verte biscuit teapot and cover
Kangxi (1662-1722), of square form on four bracket feet, with an hexagonal-section 'S' form spout set to one side, painted with peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and prunus, surmounted by a simulated rattan handle with canted corners, with a peach, pomegranate, persimmon and finger citron applied to the shoulder, the domed cover similarly decorated with a spear knop, 24cm high (2) Provenance: Acquired by the grandfather of the present owners in the 1950s. 清康熙 素三彩洞石花卉纹连盖提梁壶Condition Report Finial glued to the cover with a minute chip.
