A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Green Tara, she is seated in lalitasana on a parted double lotus throne the foot resting on a lotus stem, shoulders flanked by lotus flowers, the right hand extended in the varada mudra, the left hand raised holding a lotus stem, she is richly adorned and wearing a five petaled crown, the hair done in a bun and three ringlets. Sealed bottom. 18th century. Weight 1924 g. H. 18.5 cm.
