A Chinese gilt silver 'dragon and phoenix' necklace
Late Qing/Republic period
The necklace features two rows of linked and pierced flower heads above fringe design composed of flowerhead contained within a lozenge, the clasp in form of a bow with a dragon and a phoenix contained within ruyi cloud border further decorated with two chains dangling below featuring similar designs, China, no 23 and Zuyin mark to the reverse of the clasp, 46.5cm long.

Wear to the gilding, metal corrosion and tiny areas of verdigris to the clasps, minor scratches to the surface all commensurate with age.
