The sturdy parallelepipedal structure supported on four small corner feet, elegantly decorated with simple, recessed panels with beaded edges, the top and front carved in shallow relief with stylised 'shou' roundels, with brass clasp and lock, the interior later lined in fragrant camphor wood, 106.5cm wide x 58.5cm deep x 58.5cm high.
