A Chinese horn snuff bottle
19th century
Of tapered form, the flattened baluster body carved to the front and back with a chilong and a sinuous mythical beast forming a 'fu' character meaning 'blessing and fortune', a squirrel to each shoulder, with a hongmu stopper, three character Wangzhi ke mark, meaning 'carved by Wang Zhi' to base, 7cm high.
十九世紀 牛角雕‘福’紋鼻煙壺連紅木蓋，「汪智刻」款
Condition Report:
There are traces of glue like substance to one side of the body and a tiny spot to the bottom of the 'fu' character. Nibbling to the extremities commensurate with age.
