Qing dynasty, 18th century
Carved with horned dragon head confronting a chilong to the shaft, the reverse with circular raised boss, the jade with white cloudy inclusions, 8.5cm long.
Provenance: reputedly from the collection of the vendor’s step-grandfather, amassed in the South of England during the 1930s, and thence by descent.
