A Chinese pale jade 'dragon' belt hook
Qing dynasty, 18th/19th century
Typically carved with dragon head-hook confronting a high-relief horned dragoon clambering across the shaft, the reverse with circular boss, 13.5cm long.
清十八/十九世紀 玉雕龍紋帶鉤
Condition Report:
A long fissure to the edge of the shaft, which appears to have been artificially stained black. The inclusion to the head also appears to be artificial. Nibbling to edges.
