Provenance: Descendants of Poul Laursen (1910–1983) who worked for the Great Nordic Telegraph Company and was posted to Shanghai from 1947–1951 with his wife Trine Laursen. After returning home to Denmark he was first deputy director, then deputy director and eventually with the title of director in matters of law.
