The screen with huali frame, inset with a large central panel inset with an official standing next to a pile of scrolls wearing orange robe with borders enamelled in blue, holding a ruyi scepter in bowing position, a maid holding a large fan to the back, 19 x 12cm plaque only, flanked by two plaques to each sides painted with crane on pine tree above lingzhi, and a deer holding a lingzhi in mouth beneath tall mountains, 19 x 5.5cm, the screen with pierced apron in form of scrolling foliage; the screen measures 38.5 x 33cm when unfolded.
