Of round shallow form with flaring rim, the exterior with two fan-shaped panels decorated with landscapes in underglaze blue and red, separated by two leaves, all reserved on a powder blue ground, the interior plain, the base with a lozenge shaped mark within double blue rings. Period: Kangxi (1662‑1722). Diameter: 22.5 cm.

Wladimir Simon Semcesen (1906‑1969) born in Austria Hungary, settled in Oslo, Norway in 1936. In the 1950’s and 1960’s before the Cultural Revolution in China, he acquired works of art in China that he brought back to Europe.
