Susan Henoch Quinn, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was raised in a family of collectors. Her parents, Willard and Faith Henoch, were benefactors of numerous Milwaukee arts institutions. Her sister and brother-in-law, Anne H. and Frederick Vogel III, are also well-known collectors of early Colonial Americana.
