Lot Description:
A Circa 1920's Pink Mother-of-Pearl Fan, the monture gilded, mounted with a Brussels tape lace leaf, Together with A Palmette or Jenny Lind Fan, the pink card panels embossed in gold, the edge and part of the centre of each also punched with tiny holes. The bone monture is simply pierced to the gorge, with more elaborate piercing to the guards which are also adorned with silvered leaves. The upper guard contains a mirror and the top edge of each panel is trimmed with white marabou. (2)
Condition Report:
. The Palmette fan has some damage to the panels and the majority of the white marabou is lacking.
