Description:Well, usually, when we cross a Caucasian kilim or aflat weave area rug at this age, it is very normal that particular piece could have a very minor attention but sometimes it might need a major restoration. But I didn't have to do anything on this piece that I am offering to my online buyers. I didn't have to do any cleaning on this piece either! When I bought this almost two decades ago, it was already very clean and because I love it so much I decided not to sell it and keep it in my private collection. Now it is time for me to start selling some rugs from my own private collection, this is the first one that I am offering and I will list more in upcoming weeks or month, just look "PC" on the title. This is a sensational antique Caucasian Shirvan Flat weave or Kilim , located in the southern Caucasus (present-day Azerbaijan), has a pattern featuring shield-shaped devices that probably derive ultimately from vegetal or animal-skin forms. as I said at the above, amazingly this Kilim is in superb condition for its age. Although, this is a pree 1900 but consecutively I put the circa 1900 for this awesome flat weave. When I spotted this rug I was so lucky to purchase it at an absolute bargain price, and I am very happy to say that I am offering it at absolute crazy low price of $1699.00, which is ridiculously low for a collectible Caucasian Shirvan kilim.
