These are bound in light blue cloth with matching dust jackets.

A large leather-bound volume titled The World of Music: Listener's Companion, featuring a gilt-stamped figure playing a lyre on the front board.

The lot also includes two pairs of brass candlesticks, one pair with spiral-twist stems and one pair of faceted glass candlesticks, a small dark wood wall-hanging shelf with hooks, and a wooden book trough.

More Information

The collection shows varying degrees of age-related wear throughout. Several dust jackets, notably on the Oxford History volumes and military books, exhibit edge creasing, minor tearing, and sunning to the spines (Photo 2). The Salvation Army Band Tune Book shows significant wear to the cloth covers and fraying to the page edges (Photo 6). The children's annuals have bumped corners and shelf wear to the pictorial boards (Photo 5). The brass candlesticks show surface oxidation and a dark patina (Photo 5). The wooden items exhibit minor surface scuffs and scratches consistent with general use (Photo 6). The glass candlesticks appear intact without major visible chips (Photo 3).
