With double-edged blade adapted from a sword-blade, the central fuller on each side at the forte incised 'SAHAGUM', a running wolf mark beyond, iron hilt comprising downswept quillons flanking a bluntly-pointed guard, tapering grip of circular section, and disc-shaped pommel surmounted by a pyramidal tang button (old pitting); together with a reproduction left-hand dagger in German early 17th century style, in its steel-mounted leather scabbard, the locket with two rings for suspension (2)
