With sharply tapering double-edged blade incised 'INRI' within the central fuller on both sides of the forte, fluted ricasso, iron hilt decorated overall with engraved and punched foliage, comprising downbent flattened kidney-shaped quillons each with small button terminal and springing from a central quillon-block, broad side-ring, faceted globular pommel with button, and writhen grip bound with twisted iron and brass wire between Turk's heads (worn and rust patinated overall)
