Width of case 42 1/2 inches. Continental Furniture Case top with sunfading, water stains, age splits and warping. Keys strike but approximately one dozen catch and do not return. Sound board with approximately four cracks. Underside with a large age split running from front to back of case. Maker's panel reads "1808 W. & W. Stodart/ makers to their majesties/ and royal family/ Golden Square/ London." Reverse of panel inscribed "Restored 1976/ Clarence Helsing/ Jackson Piano/ Rockford Illinois" in pencil.
