A Continental Striking and Repeating Pocket Watch, circa 1820, unsigned, verge movement, pierced balance bridge, half hour and hour striking on a outer gong, hour repeat button in the pendant, enamel dial with Arabic numerals, white metal case stamped inside the back cover FRT and numbered 3941, case with a stop/start slide in the band 56mm wide

Case with surface scratches and small dents in parts, case engine turning is rubbed, pendant bow is later, dial with small hairline cracks and small scratches in parts, dial edge at 4 has been damaged in the past with a chip and this has now been filled, minute hand is slightly loose, movement is striking the half hour and hours correctly, repeating the hours correctly when pressing the button in the pendant, movement in going order. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
