A Continental tri-colour gold jewelled snuffbox, 19th century, the hinged cover embellished with seed pearls and rose cut diamonds. The curved side panels with floral and acanthus leaf decoration in relief, in green and rose gold, over a textured yellow ground. Unmarked. 32.33g 30mm x 45mm x 15mm Provenance: Maurice 'Dick' Turpin, Barons Keep, London W14. Condition Report: Tarnish to the hinged cover. A solder mark to one spot at the edge of the cover. Interior tested as approximately 18ct gold. The reverse of the hinged cover is reinforced with a metal plate.
