With sharply tapering blade (some old wear and pitting) of hollow triangular section etched along both sides of the forte with a stand of banners between designs of foliage, hilt pierced overall with stars centred on scrolling foliage and trelliswork set with minute multi-faceted beadwork, comprising oval shell-guard, quillon-block, globular pommel with faceted button, plain arms and knuckle-guard, and lobed rear quillon, in original scabbard covered in tooled vellum (old damage and repairs) with steel mounts including locket and chape en suite with the hilt and each with ring for suspension
