A DANISH OAK DESK ATTRIBUTED TO ERNST KUHN (1890-1948) RETAILED BY NORMINA, COPENHAGEN, CIRCA 1940s The cross banded top above two slides and an arrangement of five drawers. The underside with a printed paper label for 'Normina' 76cm high, 160cm wide, 84cm deepProvenance: Foster & Gane, where purchased by Count Manfredi della Gherardesca Condition Report: Overall good clean condition and structurally secure. Some minor constructional shrinkage cracks and some very minor shrinkage to the oak rails, most notably to the right side of the desk top. Inevitable minor scuffing to legs and around the kneehole, very minor (barely visible) localised scuffing to flat surfaces eg the desk top (left end) and the left side. The drawers run a little tight, could be easily remedied, the left slide with replaced cone-shaped pull. Paper label to underside for 'Normina, Kobenhavn'. Condition Report Disclaimer
