A DATED CHINESE BRONZE RITUAL WINE VESSEL JUE

Cast with a triple band of key fret on the exterior, beast mask handle to one side and two posts at the mouth rim, its U-shaped body supported on three triangular blade legs, and broadening to an oblong cupped mouth. A nine-character inscription cast in relief under the mouth dating its creation in the year of 1738, the third year of Qianlong period. An archaic bronze tripod used in ritual ceremony. Condition: Nice patina commensurate with age, in great condition.
