Inscription: lower left signed in the printing plate: "A. C. Dies f.". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Muro torto, preso in Villa Borghese".

Date: 1799

Description: The engraved illustration shows a picturesque landscape of Villa Borghese with a view of the winding Muro torto and St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. Two figures walk along a path surrounded by lush trees, water features and architectural monuments under a dramatic cloud formation. Probably a later print for the French-language edition of the "Malerisch radirte Prospekte von Italien".
