A DIVISION ONE DOUBLE GEMSTONE BUTTON

A large medium 19th century Citrine and Sapphire example. From the collection the late Don and Barb Lanier, we are offering this exquisite large (for a Citrine button) hand carved and faceted yellow Citrine button accented on top with a gold pinshanked set Sapphire. Notice the hearts in the frosted carving, what a button representing to a loved one.

Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
