A DIVISION ONE NATURAL MATERIAL PICTORIAL BUTTON

1 Large medium early 20th century hand carved example. This self shanked, curved needle example was hand crafted in natural material. The Billiken is a mythological good luck creature and incidentally is also the mascot of the Saint Louis University. This curved needle example is different than any other Billiken's we have sold in the past and most likely older as it required a curved needle to sew it on.

Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
