A DIVISION THREE HAND PAINTED CASEIN PICTORIAL BUTTON

1 Small 20th century example by Edith and Alan Brooks. The English couple that hand painted these buttons may never have had any clue how popular their fun and beautiful work would become. These little gems have gained so much interest and notoriety over the years and no wonder as they are truly great. This lot from the Lanier collection is for an uncommon Asian ladies head.

Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
