A DIVISION THREE PICTORIAL HORSE BUTTON

1 Large 20th century button from the Sam Biern Co. This nicely detailed horse head made of pewter is set over a dark fabric background and set into a backmarked pewter cup shaped base. The backmark con sists of 2 applied plates with the Sam Biern. N.Y. mark. The late Don and Barb Lanier Collection.

Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
Date or Era: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
