the vase painted with large panels of densely packed flowering branches, within scrolling lambrequin borders with a foliate scroll band at the neck, the cover similarly decorated, blue LV monogram mark over I V B. for Louis Victor, De Dubbelde Schenkkan (The Double Jug) factory.

Condition Report:
The upper small point of the finial cleanly re-stuck at join. The rim sprayed making it difficult to determine extent of damage but is in good appearance. The vase in good condition and appearance, typical glaze loss to rim and minor glaze loss to foot rim.
