painted in Chinese 'Transitional' style with birds on rockwork, the sides with flower cartouches on a foliate-scrollwork ground, outlined in black, with screw-top cover, AK monogram mark over numeral 4 in manganese for Adrianus Kocx, De Grieksche A (The Greek A) factory, 1687-1701.
