A Danish gentleman's watch chain of app. 14k gold, top with hook and horse head, followed by round links with profiled joints, separated by rectangular links chased with ornamentation. Apparently unmarked. Second half-19th century. Weight 23 g. L. 37.5 cm.
Condition: Minimal patina consistent with age and use. Possible earlier tin soldering on the horse head and the loop above it.
