A Directoire Fruitwood Commode

having a rectangular top above the case fitted with two long drawers flanked by fluted pilasters, raised on square tapering legs.
Height 34 1/2 x width 37 1/4 x depth 19 3/8 inches.

In overall stable, attractive condition. With old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Surface refinished. Scattered age splits. Evidence of worming throughout. Hardware replaced. Repair to veneer on base rail. Likely missing sabots. Additional images available upon request.
