Condition Report:
Old repairs to the paw feet of the caryatid legs at the joint with the stretcher, and repairs and a few marks and losses to the toupie feet. Slight warping to one side of round wooden frame to top due to age, visible in catalogue photographs. A few typical small losses and age cracks to veneer, and scattered oxidation and rubbing to gilding. Marble top with minor scratches and spots of disclouration. Overall, typical signs of wear commensurate with age and use but nothing significant or visually distracting from the elegance and functionality of the model.
