A Dutch silver tazza, maker's mark a star-like device, Enkhuizen, 1629 and possibly later

the circular raised bowl engraved with the capture in 1628 of the Spanish, silver fleet in the bay of Matanza, Cuba and centred by a cast roundel of the Binding of Isaac, on a bracketed vase stem engraved with strap work and applied with corded rings pendant from grotesque masks, the domed base embossed and chased with cherub's marks and fruit clusters between stamped ovolo borders

Condition Report:
In overall good condition. The five-piece foot is removable.
Fully marked on the outside border of the cup, assay scratches on each part. Assay scratch also visible under the central medallion of the cup.
